Waseca High School Bluejays

The following were the 2005 Inductees to the Waseca High School Athletic Hall of Fame:

Jo (Arveson) Hickerson, athlete, 1982; Manny Beckmann, coach, 1954-1991; John Bendix, special, 1958-present; Jerry Cawley, athlete, 1961; Monte Dufault , athlete, 1988; Gene Glynn, athlete, 1975; Shyde Krause, athlete, 1948; and Tink Larson, coach, 1967-present.

The first Hall of Fame Banquet was held February 4, 2005, at Waseca Farmamerica. The program speakers were Bill Severin, Todd Mann, Terry Gilbertson, Jeanne Swanson, and Mike Larson.

2005 Hall of Fame Committee Members were Chairperson, Jeanne Swanson; Secretary/Treasurer, Todd Mann; Coaching Staff Representative, Terry Gilbertson; Booster Club Member, Bill Severin; Community Members, Mike Larson and Jon Kaiser; Media Representative, Dale Kugath.
